Danny Bagley and Wendy Hicks commissioned Gandy-Draper to provide a website for their new property business. Both had many years in the property business, Danny in commercial sales, and Wendy in residential.

It is the philosophy of Bagley-Hicks to stay small, deal with selected properties and to offer a tailored and personal service to the client dealing directly with the partners. And dealing with only a limited, quality, portfolio of properties.

The key to the site was putting the partners themselves at the forefront. Of course there are properties displayed, but the emphasis rests on the partners. Both of whom have been on the island for a considerable number of years, and have a wealth of experience and a variety of business interests.

In addition to providing the site Gandy-Draper also designed the logo and stationery for the company.

SARA is an animal charity based on the island of Lanzarote. They care for anything up to 350 abandoned or mistreated animals at any one time and receive no Government funding.

After getting to know the English coordinator Gandy-Draper offered to rebuild the website free of charge. In addition Gandy-Draper has also provided hosting and training on how to update the site to SARA.

Gandy-Draper were given the brief of producing a website to enable effective international sales for this Lanzarote based property company which deals in the global market.

The result was overseaspropertyunlimited.com a site designed with flexibilty and control in mind. In addition to being simple for the user to navigate, the company, its staff, and partners have an easy to manage control panel behind the scenes to allow for all aspects of content management to be handled internally, as well as control CRM (customer relationship management) all from within the site.

Gandy-Draper were asked to re-design the site for the Wax Bar, one of the best known bars in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.

The original site was ‘home made’, but reasonably well executed. Gandy-Draper re-designed and re-structured the site, whilst still maintaining some of the original’s better features. Frames were utilised to allow the site to integrate YouTube and PhotoBucket, and the forum hosted by Canary Nightlife for ease of use, and to minimize costs and maintenance for the site owner.

It’s very much the philosophy of the company that you can’t talk in a qualified way about web design and internet marketing unless you can prove you can do it yourself. With this in mind Gandy-Draper set up Canary Nightlife.

Canary Nightlife is a directory and guide to bars, restaurants and discothèques on the Canary Islands of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Tenerife and Gran Canaria. The site also includes a forum for visitors to discuss and ask questions about what’s happening at their favourite venues.
