The website, in addition to providing subscription information and information about the artists and performances, includes separate areas for members only, and information for artists travelling to the island.

The original site had been in existence for some time. It looked dated and was in need of modernising to bring it in line with the professional standing of the company in their industry. Additionally SEO was an important factor in the project as the site figure poorly in Google, largely as the original had been built in frames.

The resulting site is clean, clear and SEO friendly. Gandy-Draper will be undertaking further work on the content and news sections in the future,  communicating with the UK based clients via phone, email and face to face meetings.

The site includes a revolving gallery which features completed work and before and after photographs of past work and the clean design and SEO friendly site achieved a page one position for key search terms on Google within days of launch.

The client wanted an easy to update site that allowed for future growth and making te site SEO friendly was a major consideration. In addition they wanted to use Google maps to highlight the regions they covered with different levels of services to landlords and tenants, as well as needing the images to accompany the content sourcing.

Initially concerned how it might work dealing with web designers in Lanzarote, after a couple of telephone calls the client was suitably reassured and chose to go ahead. The project was successfully managed using email and Skype – and the client is very happy with the results.

The company, who are based in Puerto del Carmen wanted a site that was bold and visual – their aim being to show off photographs in order that they could point prospective clients to the site as an ‘online brochure’ as their first port of call in order to provide an idea of the companies capabilities before visiting thei showroom. As well as, of course, to obtain them new enquiries via the Internet.

The resulting site is clean, easy to use and focusses on the photographic content. In some sites a picture is worth a thoudsand words!

The brief was to provide a very clean and easy to navigate site, and to provide a means of booking as simply as possible. The client had tested similar sites and was not impressed with the booking process on many.

The resulting site is organized in such a way that the booking is ‘fool proof’ once the user has made the decision on what they wish to book. Booking details are mailed to the site owner and the user has their booking securely confirmed instantly. At the request of the client, booking transactions are handled through moneybookers.com who offer a similar service to that of PayPal at less commission, and offer an easy and much less expensive means of opening a merchant account than the likes of WorldPay.

The site has English and German options for both content and order processing.

The company that owned the pub were considering closing it down much to the horror of the village. So much so that a consortium of seventeen of the local villagers got together to buy the pub, which has since been tastefully refurbished, re-branded, with a new mouth watering menu.

As part of the launch it was the intention to tie in with a new website and two of the new owners who own property in Playa Blanca approached Gandy-Draper to undertake the build. The result is a clean and modern site which reflects the new branding and decor of the premises.

The brief was relatively simple – the site had to be clean, easy to use, and make it very easy for viewers to make an intitial enquiry without the requirent for complex calculators or lengthy forms. The site also incorporates a Flash banner at the head of the page, and, at the clients request uses frames to display the pages.

Using a dynamic image menu helps to gain user interest – and most importantly make the dishes served at the restaurant the focus visually. The owners were also keen to promote their regular events, and demonstrate their ability to cater for many types of functions. La Bocaina is one of the few restaurants in Playa Blanca with the facilities and expertise to manage functions normally associated with – the more expensive option – hotels.
