What is a domain name? And what is hosting?
Your domain name is the name that you would call your website. It is the bit you will see online as beginning with www.

Hosting is the space on the internet that your website sits on, and additionally where your emails are stored.
Think of it as a shop. The domain name is the signage outside so that people know you are there. The hosting is the floor space through the door. Your website is everything that the shop contains.
Alright – so how much do you charge?
- .com .co.uk .net or .eu – €20* for a years registration (.org – €25* per year)
- Standard hosting for your website and email service is €150* per year
- Your first year’s domain name and hosting is included within your website design cost, and is only payable from year two onwards
Of course we can provide all other popular domain extensions – please contact us for a quote on the extension you are looking for. If you register your domain name you will get free email forwarding and either free web forwarding or a standard holding page (your choice) included, as well as all the advice and support you need to help guide you through the process.
